Mieses Karma Kapitel 3Warum sind Casino 25 Euro Bonus ohne Einzahlung Mieses Karma so beliebt. - Rowohlt Taschenbuch
Ein wirklich tolles Buch, dass ich immer wieder gerne auch verschenke.

The surreal scenario coming into play didn't have me engaged either. I can see people finding it so surreal that maybe it's funny, but then it turned quite gritty fast, and Again, I don't see the fun, and the protagonist is certainly not engaging enough to have me care for her situation.
Bad Karma had a fine concept. Not original, but with many adjustments, it could've turned into something great anyway. It didn't.
I tried to find an American addition of this book, but, alas, I couldn't find one. It's only a matter of timi and a lot of my friends speak German.
It was so great! The book begins as she wins a prestige TV news award. That evening while standing out on the balcony of her hotel room, somewhere For those who don't speak Germna, Mieses Karma means Terrible Karma.
That evening while standing out on the balcony of her hotel room, somewhere in space, the Russians are very delicately moving an old space station further into space where they then blow it up!
They succeeded in turning everything into space dust, except for one thing The sink falls to earth, hurtles through earth's atmosphere, until falling right on top of Kim Lange.
She wakes up and finds herself under ground in a very strange body. She can't figure out who or where she is until Buddha appears as an ant.
Kim has reborn as an ant seems she didn't gather enough good karma throughout her life. With the help of THE Cassanoavo, she sets out trying to gather as much good karma as she can so she can be reunited with her family.
The things that happen along the way are both hilarious and insightful. Cassanova as Kim's unfailing ally is so funny. He's lived lives as an aunt and would like to move up to something more prestigious.
A guenia pig, for example. My favorite parts were the asides footnotes : aus Cassanova's Errinerung from Cassanova's memmory.
I also love the scene where Buddha tells Kim what really happens in the afterlife. Those who believe in God go to Jesus. Muslims go to Mohammed.
People who believe in Buddhe go to Buddha. He also takes on people who didn't believe anything. And those who believe in the god Odin get sent to Walhalla.
Whenever Jesus and I get together for dinner with him, all he does is complain about how nobody believes in him and maybe if he had his own PR people he could get some believers.
If you find an edition in English, buy it! Don't even waste your time checking it out of the library first. This one's a keeper. If you speak German, go to amazon.
It's cheaper than the shipping. View 1 comment. A friend recommended this book to me as "really funny", so I thought I'd give it a shot, but it's chick lit, so I should have known better.
The story sounds kinda interesting - a successful tv presenter gets killed by some space junk and reincarnates as an ant, because she collectet too much bad karma during her lifetime.
However, live as an ant doesn't last very long either, she almost instantly gets killed and - who would have guessed it - born again as some sort of animal During her time as different animals our heroine learns of course a lot about herself and the people she left behind and that's all very interesting to read and written in a funny and amusing way and probably more stuff I can't remember.
At some stage she's indeed getting reborn in the body of a rather obese woman, who, quite handy, just died herself and then the story proceeds for a few more chapters, but I was bored and annoyed and skipped a lot of them.
I think there might be a cheesy, happy, moral-packed ending but I couldn't be bothered. This book makes you smile, it might even make you laugh.
The general plot idea isn't even half bad, yet when you are finished you feel like you've had lunch at McDonalds. It tasted okay enough while you ate, but leaves you a little queasy.
This book entertains you at times, but in the end you feel slightly dumber than before you started reading it. A funny and very easy read but nothing that had great meaning for me.
It was a refreshing and interesting book for when you are in a reading slump for example but other than that nothing overly funny or exiting allthough some scenes make me giggle.
Quoting Scott Pilgrim: This is This has to be the most unfair review I've ever written. Funny and clever. The ending was a good one, although I didn't like the way it took to get there.
I read this book a few years back and I must say it is one of my many, many favourite. David had a genius idea with the story and the characters he created are just so real.
The book is in the first person of Kim Lange, a tv women, famous with the biggest career, married and with a daughter.
You know, that someone that we see on tv and think that girl must have it all. And we get to know her, her large ego, and her life after she passed away through her own voice.
I must say that I never I read this book a few years back and I must say it is one of my many, many favourite. I must say that I never thought to read a book written by a men with a women as a main character but… that could actually be written by a women.
Kim character is just so well built, in her worst and best and my favourite character in the book by the way. Spitzenrezensionen Neueste zuerst Spitzenrezensionen.
